Jason Statham Workout


Jason Statham is an actor who maintains a lean muscular body. He has been the star of popular movies like Crank, Transporter, and The Expendables. In a lot of his action movies he is involved in fights where he uses his unorthodox fighting style to take on his enemies. Statham has trained in different forms of mixed martial arts before he became a famous movie actor. He shows off his mixed martial arts background in his action movies. Jason Statham has a hard disciplined workout routine. Statham follows these rule when doing workouts.

- Never repeat a workout: Each workout performed is varied so the same exercise is not repeated.
- Take notes of everything: As you go through workouts you will get fitter, stronger, and faster. It is vital to record all lifts and times so that intensity and %1RM's can be calculated.

Statham's workout is relatively simple. His workout consists of a 10 minute total body worm-up on a rowing ergometer. This is followed by ten minutes of a medium intensity exercise such as the following:

- Heavy compound movements such as front squats, dead-lifts or a power clean for a maximum of five reps.
- Circuit training using light weights and with various exercises.
- Exercises such as the farmers walk, carrying kettle bells, sandbags, and dumbbells.
- A variety of explosive medicine ball exercises.
- Kettle bell circuit training.
